The QIiPT team in collaboration with the NES Digital Education Team have been working on a digital transformation project to provide a suite of innovative and engaging Infection Prevention and Control e-learning modules.
The first module is now live and can be accessed via TURAS.
Module 1 will focus on:
- Sourcing the latest guidance on Infection Prevention and Control (IPC)
- Identifying why IPC is important in a dental practice setting.
- The effective application of Standard Infection Control Precautions (SICPs) and Transmission Based Precautions (TBPs) including Assessment of Infection Risk, Hand Hygiene, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and Safe Management of Linen.
Verifiable CPD will be allocated on completion.
Modules 2 and 3 are currently under construction and we hope to have them live soon
