The ‘Practice Support Manual’ does not cover the public’s rights to information held by United Kingdom public authorities. In most cases the rights to information are similar to those provided by the Freedom of Information (Scotland) Act 2002 [1] but there might be some differences: for example, in the way fees are charged or in the time allowed for public authorities to reply to requests.
